Radar vs RedShip

RedShip sits in the same neighborhood as Radar — watch Reddit, score the conversation, draft a reply. They lean harder into an inbox, competitor watch, Google-ranking threads, and weekly checks of whether ChatGPT names you. Radar leans harder into the paste: help-only drafts, founder disclosure, and a cooldown after you mark something posted. If you want a listening console with SEO attached, start with them. If you want a Hunt you empty by hand, start here.

Radar is for

Solo founders who treat Reddit as replies, not a command center.

RedShip is for

Founders and small teams who want monitoring, drafts, and citation tracking in one inbox.

I still paste every reply myself

I built Radar because Hunt plus a pasted reply on Reddit is how I actually reach people. I run it on ColorHer (photo restoration) and SHIP FM (startup radio). Radar never posts. I copy the draft, open the thread, and paste under my own name. Help-only when pitching would be spam. Founder disclosure when the product belongs in the reply.

I'm selling this because I can see it helping me get seen — and paid. OPs answer. People check the FM. A first customer showed up. I am not going to invent a round number for you.

The tools on this page that auto-post or buy accounts are a different job. I flinch at that, so Radar stops at the draft. I still paste by hand. That is the product.

The loop is public: @robsannazzaro on X.

What they have that we don't

  • Always-on inbox

Site-wide keyword and brand matches, scored, while the OP may still be online.

  • SEO opportunity finder

Weekly scan of Reddit threads already on page one for money keywords.

  • AI visibility

Prompts run against ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini — did you get named?

What Radar holds onto

  • Paste-only workflow

No claim that Radar posts. The dashboard is a queue of drafts you own.

  • Authority mix

Help-only is designed in. Pitch has a weekly cap per sub.

Console vs Hunt

RedShip. An inbox you monitor. Alerts, competitors, ranking threads, citation reports.

Radar. A Hunt you run. Mentions when someone already used the name. A small chart of what you pasted.

Choose RedShip if you want the dashboard to feel like ops. Choose Radar if you want it to feel like a short list.

Price

Public pages talk about tracked sites and competitors; confirm current price on redship.io (contact listed as [email protected]).

Free for 10 copied replies, then €19/month flat. The number is on /pricing, not behind a contact email.

Their product changes. We read public pages on redship.io/ in September 2026 and did not sign up to every dashboard. If something here is stale, that is on us — email and we will fix it.
