Radar vs MediaFast

MediaFast is a strategy and publishing layer. It picks subreddits, writes a daily action plan, generates posts, and can schedule them. Their comment finder points you at threads; they have said they want you to write those comments yourself because AI comments get accounts banned. Radar inverts that: the comment is the product, and you still paste it. If you need a karma roadmap and a post calendar, they are closer. If you need this morning's thread and a draft, Radar is closer.

Radar is for

Founders who already have an account and want replies more than a content calendar.

MediaFast is for

Founders who want a ban-aware posting plan across Reddit (and they also talk about X, LinkedIn, Bluesky).

I still paste every reply myself

I built Radar because Hunt plus a pasted reply on Reddit is how I actually reach people. I run it on ColorHer (photo restoration) and SHIP FM (startup radio). Radar never posts. I copy the draft, open the thread, and paste under my own name. Help-only when pitching would be spam. Founder disclosure when the product belongs in the reply.

I'm selling this because I can see it helping me get seen — and paid. OPs answer. People check the FM. A first customer showed up. I am not going to invent a round number for you.

The tools on this page that auto-post or buy accounts are a different job. I flinch at that, so Radar stops at the draft. I still paste by hand. That is the product.

The loop is public: @robsannazzaro on X.

What they have that we don't

  • Daily action plan

What to post, where, and when — a playbook, not a lead inbox.

  • Post generator + scheduler

Rule-aware posts and a queue. Publishing is the center of gravity.

  • Subreddit picker

They claim a large indexed set of communities with engagement data.

What Radar holds onto

  • Scored reply queue

Hunt is inbound-to-the-thread: here is a post, here is a draft.

  • Help-only vs pitch

The mix is visible. MediaFast is more 'grow the account' than 'this reply type.'

Comments vs posts

MediaFast. Strong on posts, cadence, and account health. Comments are 'go here, write it yourself.'

Radar. Strong on comments. Radar drafts the reply. It does not schedule a promotional post for you.

Choose MediaFast for the calendar. Choose Radar for the thread.

Price

Third-party writeups cite a free tier, monthly around $49, and a lifetime option around $199. Confirm on mediafa.st.

Radar is not a scheduler. For the comment side: free for 10 copied replies, then €19/month flat, with a €149 founding lifetime for the first 50 seats.

Their product changes. We read public pages on www.mediafa.st/ in September 2026 and did not sign up to every dashboard. If something here is stale, that is on us — email and we will fix it.
