Radar vs ReddGrow

Not RedditGrow (redditgrow.ai). ReddGrow is the AI-citation / brand-monitor product. Same-looking name, different job.

ReddGrow sells generative-engine optimization. They query ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI, find Reddit threads those models already cite, draft a comment, and help you get into the answer. A Chrome extension comments from your session. Plans start in the high tens per month and climb. Radar is not a GEO suite. If the buying committee wants share of voice inside Claude, they fit. If you want a founder reply on a thread from this week, Radar fits.

Radar is for

Founders measuring 'did I show up as a useful human this week.'

ReddGrow is for

Marketing teams buying AI visibility across countries and models.

I still paste every reply myself

I built Radar because Hunt plus a pasted reply on Reddit is how I actually reach people. I run it on ColorHer (photo restoration) and SHIP FM (startup radio). Radar never posts. I copy the draft, open the thread, and paste under my own name. Help-only when pitching would be spam. Founder disclosure when the product belongs in the reply.

I'm selling this because I can see it helping me get seen — and paid. OPs answer. People check the FM. A first customer showed up. I am not going to invent a round number for you.

The tools on this page that auto-post or buy accounts are a different job. I flinch at that, so Radar stops at the draft. I still paste by hand. That is the product.

What they have that we don't

  • AI visibility scanning

They claim daily queries from 220 countries across multiple models — real-user queries, not just APIs.

  • Threads LLMs already cite

Target existing cited posts instead of hoping a new thread ranks.

  • Chrome extension

Comment from the Reddit page with their draft assist. Help-center notes include posting under the logged-in session.

  • Brand monitor + community mgmt

Alerts plus subreddit moderation tooling on the current site.

What Radar holds onto

  • Hunt for a reply, not a citation

We score whether you should answer this person. We do not score whether Perplexity will quote you.

  • No extension, no session

Clipboard and a tab. That is the integration.

GEO vs Hunt

ReddGrow. Win the AI answer. Reddit is the corpus.

Radar. Win this thread. Reddit is the room.

Choose ReddGrow for citation dashboards. Choose Radar for the paste. Do not buy one thinking it is the other.
